You can leverage Social Media to proactively search for potential candidates, or simply connecting with them so they can see first hand your brand, what you're about, and what you have to offer as an employer in the market.

In essence, you can leverage Social Media to build and nurture relationships with your target candidate market.

This is becoming more and more common now. Employers are actively encouraging employees to utilise Social Media to expand and increase the reach and awareness related to their company’s Employer Brand.

This can form part of an employee benefits package. It, in essence, turns your employees into your casual recruiters.

Why this could be a good strategy?

If your Employer Brand is attracting the type of talent that you want in terms of people’s values, then a friend or acquaintance of a current employee may well share the same set of values. Like attracts like so they say!
